The largest European event on local sustainable development
The Dunkerque 2010 conference welcomed more than 1800 participants coming from over 50 different countries to attend the largest European event dedicated to sustainable development. Over 250 elected leaders took part in this major event, next to high level representatives from the private sector, technical experts and representatives from European institutions, international organisations, research institutions and NGOs.

Die Dunkerque 2010 Erklärungen
Die beiden politischen Erklärungen, die Dunkerque 2010 Lokale Nachhaltigkeit-Erklärung und der Dunkerque 2010 Call on Climate Action, wurden am 21. Mai während der abschließenden Plenarsitzung durch Akklamation verabschiedet. Sie wurden anschließend hochrangigen Vertretern des Europarats, des Europäischen Parlaments, der spanischen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft, sowie der Europäischen Kommission vorgestellt.
